Bethesda Softworks announced on Tuesday that the second official Elder Scrolls: Skyrim game add-on, Hearthfire will be out soon. In Hearthfire you we be able to purchase land and build your own home from a simple one-room cottage to a massive compound complete with an armory, alchemy laboratory, stable, garden, and more. You will also be able to adopt children.

Microsoft has released the second pack of Minecraft Xbox 360 skins. Its been out for a while now but I just remember. The pack includes forty-five skins from games such as Left 4 Dead all the way to Jet Force Gemini. The pack costs 160 Microsoft points which I still don’t agree with.

Microsoft have released the complete list of Xbox 360 achievements for Halo 4. As always the list probably contains some spoilers.
343 Industries said “Our primary goal when creating Halo 4’s achievements was to reward milestones and increase replay value while balancing both difficulty and the breadth of game modes. Our secondary goal was to live up to Halo tradition with weird ass names for some of them.”

World of Warcraft patch 5.0.4 has been available for a few days now and it adds quite a few good new features to Blizzard Entertainment’s MMORPG.

Nintendo of America has confirmed that the release of Animal Crossing: Jump Out for the 3DS will happen early next year in North America with the game coming out in Japan later this year. An Europe release hasn’t been mentioned yet.

Rockstar Games has released a some screenshots from Grand Theft Auto V recently. They show some of the various activities you might be able to take part in when the game finally gets released. They include parachuting, dirt biking, tennis and planes, cars and bicycles can be used to get around.

Tribes: Ascend has been updated with several major updates such as “A new gametype CTF Blitz”, “New Technician Weapons” and “Classic Tribes 2 voice packs” plus much more.

Kalypso Media the producers of strategy games such as the Tropico, Port Royale and Patrician franchises are bringing organised crime back to gaming with Omerta: City Of Gangsters. Anyone who has played the excellent Gangsters: Organized Crime will know what to expect. It plays similar to that game and games like Men of War and Tropico. The game will be developed by Haemimont Games who developed games like Tropico 3 and Tropico 4.
