Two New World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria TV Adverts

I would say that is the worst World of Warcraft logo so far.

With World of Warcraft newest expansion Mist of Pandaria coming out in just over two weeks, it’s not surprising to see some television adverts being released. Well it is surprising to see video game adverts at all on television these days but that’s another topic all together. The two television adverts are made up of clips from Mist of Pandaria’s opening cinematic which stars Chen Stormstout as a mighty kung-fu styling panda.

World of Warcraft: All Races Will Be Available For Free Even Without Future Expansions

Get some free Samurai worgen action.

The other day Blizzard Entertainment announced that with the release of patch 5.0.4, all the races of Azeroth will be playable by everyone “no matter which version or expansion of World of Warcraft they own” This means that the pandaren who will available in the upcoming expansion World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria will become available to everyone to play regardless whether you own that particular expansion or any of the others.

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Opening Cinematic

I love that smile.

Blizzard entertainment have released the opening cinematic for World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria the other day during Gamescom. The video shows the Alliance and Horde becoming shipwrecked and what happens next. The cinematic is similar to what happens when you first play as one of the Pandaren in their starter zone.

World of Warcraft Patch 5.0.4 Notes and Release Date

Blizzard Entertainment will be releasing the World of Warcraft 5.0.4 patch on the 28th August. Which also happens to be the release date for Guild Wars 2 and a day to mark down on your calendars if you’re a fan of either one of these games.

World of Warcraft Mega Bloks Figures are Now Available in Shops. Also Seven Pictures of the Figures

Looks better than they do in-game.

Mega Bloks (sort of like LEGO) and Blizzard Entertainment have announced that various figures based on the World of Warcraft have arrived in shops. The Mega Bloks World of Warcraft figures includes figures such as Goblin Zeppelin Ambush, Swift Gryphon, Deathwing’s Stormwind Assault and ten more.

World of Warcraft Has Lost Over a Million Subscribers Since May 2012

One forlorn looking Pandaren and what the servers will look like one day.

No one can say that World of Warcraft isn’t the master of subscription based MMORPGs but the games number to fluctuate and this is one of those times again. The most recent subscriptions numbers for World of Warcraft were released yesterday in the Activision Blizzard earnings report for the second quarter of 2012.

World of Warcraft: Mists Of Pandaria Pre-Purchase and Release Date Now Available

What the expansion will be like.

Blizzard has today revealed the release date for the new expansion for World of Warcraft, Mists of Pandaria. Details on the various collector’s edition have been made available which will be available with the regular versions. Mists of Pandaria will be released on the 25th September for the PC and Mac, and will cost around £29.99 whether from shops or via digital download.

World of Warcraft: Children’s Week Guide (2012)

Children are the future after all.

This a guide for the currently ongoing Children’s Week event. The Children’s Week achievements and the meta achievement “For The Children” are part of the “What A Long, Strange Trip It’s Been” achievement which requires players to complete all event achievements in World of Warcraft. If you manage this you will get a “Violet Proto-Drake” mount.

The Children’s Week event runs from 29th April to 5th May 2012.
