Two Early Access games are now available on Steam. The first is Kerbal Space Program 2, developed by Intercept Games and published by Private Division. The second is Sons of the Forest by Endnight Games and Newnight.

IO Interactive the publisher, and developer of the Hitman franchise have now released their third game in the Hitman trilogy. It’s more of the same but in this case, that is a good thing.

The people over at GOG.com have started their 2019 Summer Sale which they are calling the Summer Festival Sale and it will last for about two weeks. Apparently there are over 2000 games on sale with up to 90% off and they are also giving away the adventure and Myst inspired Obduction for free for next two days.

One of the people involved announced recently on the Mordhau Steam forums that the developers Triternion are banning players they believe are “using 3rd party cheat software at any time since release”. Some players have already started complaining of being unfairly banned.

After a Kickstarter campaign in 2013 and seven years of development the latest game by Jon Shafer the designer and programmer of Sid Meier’s Civilization IV: Warlords, Beyond the Sword and Sid Meier’s Civilization V is now out. It is called At the Gates and is a 4X strategy game similar to games like the Civilization franchise mixed with some rogue-like elements.

Capcom love doing remakes and remasters of their games and the newest to get some treatment is their classic PlayStation 2 game – Onimusha: Warlords. A Good Game a day for the rest of time perhaps?
Today it’s Half-Life 2 a 2004 first-person shooter video game developed and published by Valve Corporation for Microsoft Windows (PC). It is the sequel to 1998’s Half-Life, it was released after a five-year, $40 million development phase. During development, a substantial part of the project was leaked and distributed on the Internet. The game was developed along with Valve’s Steam software and the Source engine.

I haven’t played a Civilization game at length since Civilization IV so after playing 31+ hours of Civilization VI, it’s a good game but these are the things I think should be changed to make the game even more enjoyable.
