The people over at GOG.com have started their 2019 Summer Sale which they are calling the Summer Festival Sale and it will last for about two weeks. Apparently there are over 2000 games on sale with up to 90% off and they are also giving away the adventure and Myst inspired Obduction for free for next two days.
The GOG.com Summer Festival Sale is themed around summer music festivals and they have created several “albums” of games.
We give you a full festival experience without leaving your computers. Main stage headliners feature games collections which are a perfect opportunity to grab some exceptional titles at high discounts.
The albums of games includes collections such as the Die Auslanders – X-Com Collection which include all the old X-Com games for $5.00.
There will also be the usual flash sales and the many of the games that have been added to GOG lately will now be discounted for the first time such as Warcraft I & Warcraft II.
To get Obduction for free you just have to buy the game like you would normally and you will not be charged anything for the game. However you will already have to be a member of GOG.com. They should just add the games to everyone who is already an active member of GOG.com rather than everyone having to add them to their library themselves.
The Summer Sale Festival lasts until the 17th June.
