Today it’s Bloody Roar 2: Bringer of the New Age/Bloody Roar II: The New Breed a 1999 fighting arcade game. It was developed by Eighting and Raizing, and published by Virgin Interactive and Hudson Soft for PlayStation (PS).
Today it’s Final Fantasy IX a role-playing video game developed and published by Square for the PlayStation (PS) video game console. Originally released in 2000, it is the ninth title in the Final Fantasy series and last to debut on the original PlayStation console.
Today it’s Fear Effect a 2000 action-adventure game developed by Kronos Digital Entertainment and published by Eidos Interactive for the PlayStation (PS). A prequel was released one year later entitled Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix.
The PlayStation 4 (PS4) was announced last night so to summarise everything that was mentioned in the conference I have put together this post. The PlayStation 4 will be the fourth home video game console produced by Sony Computer Entertainment and the console successor of the PlayStation 3. It will be part of the eighth generation of video game consoles and currently has as release date of Q4 2013.
I wonder if they will redo the classic 2D backgrounds or go all out 3D.
Capcom might consider remaking Resident Evil 2 if enough people want it to be done which shows they don’t want to take any financial risks these days. Of course if you ask first then you are guaranteed sales but that’s boring.
Sephiroth one of the worst character designs in a video game.
Originally Final Fantasy VII was released way back in 1997 on PlayStation and a year later in 1998 on PC. It is once again available on PC via Square Enix digital store. However not much has changed for Final Fantasy VII in all those years since its release. There is no HD remake and the game is basically identical to how you remembered it in the past. So why bother getting it now?
It’s almost like he knew Final Fantasy XIII would be bad.
Today Final Fantasy VII has been confirmed for a PC re-release, with the new version including new online features such as thirty-six achievements, a “Character Booster” and cloud (get it) saving.
Final Fantasy VII is coming to PC again and can be seen here.
No release date or price has been announced but more information will made available “within the next 24 hours.”
Sony has recently revealed that it is releasing a new PSP. It’s currently called the “Next Generation Portable.” The name reminds me of the Neo Geo Pocket.
The NGP (PSP2) will feature PS3 like visuals therefore basically PS2.5 visulas but bright and colourful to hide this fact. The fact is the original PSP was always thought of having PS2 type visuals but again the technology only gave that impression more than anything else (it was more like PS1.5). For example Metal Gear Solid 2 wouldn’t be playable on an original PSP which is why the PSP Metal Gear Solid games where good but not comparable. Using that same analogy MGS4 wont be the same on a PSP2 as it is on a PS3 whatever they might lead you to believe.
Tell me about... actually don't bother.
Other PSP2 features include two analog sticks (about time, PSP3 will have three) a touch screen, a back that is touch sensitive, two cameras and much more.
Everyone who plays games, watches film or even reads books have specific memories that stick with them. These are my gaming memories starting with Resident Evil (PS1) which is also seen in the Resident Evil (GC) remake. Instead of explaining the whole game this will just be a certain moment that still stays with me.
