Paradox Interactive and Paradox Development Studio announced on Tuesday that the grand strategy empire building game Europa Universalis IV now has a release date with pre-orders and a new trailer is now available.

Currently Valve Corporation is doing their usual Halloween inspired Scream Fortress event for the free to play shooter Team Fortress 2. It includes new undead enemies, a magician named Merasmus, new achievements, maps and much more.

The other day Blizzard Entertainment announced that with the release of patch 5.0.4, all the races of Azeroth will be playable by everyone “no matter which version or expansion of World of Warcraft they own” This means that the pandaren who will available in the upcoming expansion World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria will become available to everyone to play regardless whether you own that particular expansion or any of the others.
Blizzard Entertainment have finally sorted out their Diablo III systems enough that people can now try out the Starter Edition for free. It is basically a demo and is available through Battle.net. With the Starter Edition you can fight up to the Skeleton King boss in Act I and get to level 13 all without having to purchase Diablo III.

Valve Corporation have today announced a new six player co-operative game mode for Team Fortress 2 called Mann vs. Machine. Players will be against hordes of NPC controlled robot versions of the Team Fortress 2 cast. The update will include new maps and missions with new achievements and items to be earned.
Valve Corporation have announced that from 5th September its online digital store Steam will begin selling software titles. None was named but expect stuff ranging from “creativity to productivity.” I am guessing this will mean they will start offering things like the Apple Store and Google Play store such as photo applications with film and music being added in the future?
Blizzard has today revealed the release date for the new expansion for World of Warcraft, Mists of Pandaria. Details on the various collector’s edition have been made available which will be available with the regular versions. Mists of Pandaria will be released on the 25th September for the PC and Mac, and will cost around £29.99 whether from shops or via digital download.

Diablo III‘s real money auction house was made available on America servers yesterday and is now heading to EU servers on Friday. It was originally meant to be released on 13th June.
