The people over at GOG.com have started their 2013 Winter Sale which I assume will last about two weeks. Apparently there are over 600 games with 50% off and they are also giving away Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics for free because of pending right holder changes (so not much of a gift) until Saturday 2:00pm GMT (less than hour left now).
On Channel 4 (UK) at 9:00pm tonight they are showing the latest masterpiece by Charlie Brooker and its called “How Video Games Changed the World“. Charlie Brooker will be joined by Jonathan Ross, Dara O’Briain and various gaming icons like Will Wright that will help him go through about twenty games that they believed made a difference to the world.

Video game publishers Paradox Interactive and developers Paradox Development Studios have released their latest bit of DLC for Crusader Kings II. The sixth (not fifth) major DLC expansion for the game is called Sons of Abraham and focuses mostly on updating some old catholics game mechanics such as improved Papal system. It also allows players to play as a Jewish character for the first time and able to recreate the Kingdom of Israel and rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem. There is also the 2.00 patch that includes many things such as achievements and three other companion DLC that have also been released. Finally there is a lauch trailer which shows some of the new features in the Sons of Abraham DLC.
Yesterday Nintendo did their latest Nintendo Direct broadcast and quite a few new things such as Network ID, Miiverse and YouTube are coming to the Nintendo 3DS. The show was hosted by Nintendo of Europe President Satoru Shibata and focused primarily on Nintendo 3DS software launching in the coming months.
