GOG.com: 2013 DRM-Free Winter Sale is Available. Also Get the Fallout Franchise for Free

Christmas sales. Christmas sales never change.
Christmas sales. Christmas sales never change.

The people over at GOG.com have started their 2013 Winter Sale which I assume will last about two weeks. Apparently there are over 600 games with 50% off and they are also giving away Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics for free because of pending right holder changes (so not much of a gift) until Saturday 2:00pm GMT (less than hour left now).

The GOG.com Winter Sale will have daily deals with YouTube personalities talking about them, 80% off thematic bundles which are chosen by the public and lastly three presents which when you choose one will have a special deal that I assume are chosen from a pre-selected pool of games.

To get the Fallout games for free you just have to buy the games like you would normally and you will not be charged anything for the games. However you will already have to be a member of GOG.com. They should just add the games to everyone who is already an active member of GOG.com rather than everyone having to add them to their library themselves.

Anyway the Fallout franchise are great set of games so now is as a good time as ever to play them. Also GOG.com are offering a 30 day money back guarantee, encase you buy a game and it doesn’t work. However to get your money back it has to be within 30 days and the support team have to fail in getting the game to work, so don’t expect to get your money back for games you completed or changed your mind on.
