Nintendo Europe Offering Super Mario 3D Land for Free to New Nintendo 3DS System Owners

Good news for recent Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL system owners as they can claim a free download code for Super Mario 3D Land. As long as the Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS XL system hasn’t yet been registered even if its old and you have recently bought a new game you can claim Super Mario 3D Land for free. The following is how you can get the game for when the promotion starts on 27th November.

Super Mario 3D Land Promotion

Promotion Step I

Register a Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS XL system and one of fifteen eligible games at Club Nintendo between 15:01 (UK time) on 27th November 2013 and 22:59 (UK time) on 13th January 2014 (Only residents of the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, South Africa, or Russia can take part).

• Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros.
• Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
• The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.
• Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D.
• Fire Emblem: Awakening.
• Luigi’s Mansion 2.
• LEGO CITY Undercover: The Chase Begins.
• Sonic Lost World.
• Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.
• Pokémon X.
• Pokémon Y.
• Bravely Default.
• New Super Mario Bros. 2.
• Mario Kart 7.
• Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy.

Promotion Step II

Log in to Club Nintendo 24 hours later and check the promotional banners for your free download code. The deadline for claiming the download code is 22:59 (UK time) on 13th February 2014.

Promotion Step III

Use your download code in the Nintendo eShop before 22:59 (UK time) on 13th March 2014 to download Super Mario 3D Land. When you’ve received your free download code, head to Nintendo eShop to redeem it.

Promotion Step IV

Ensure that your Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 2DS or Nintendo 3DS XL system is connected to the internet.

Promotion Step V

On the HOME Menu of your Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 2DS or Nintendo 3DS XL system, select the Nintendo eShop icon to launch Nintendo eShop.

Promotion Step VI

Scroll to the far left of Nintendo eShop and select ‘Settings/Other’, then tap ‘Redeem Download Code’ – enter your free download code in the box displayed and select ‘OK’.

Follow the on-screen instructions and select ‘Download’ to start the download process – you can then choose to download the game immediately or download it while your Nintendo 3DS system is in Sleep Mode.

You are now a proud new owner of Super Mario 3D Land which is arguable one of the best games on the Nintendo 3DS.

I recently bought a Nintendo 3DS XL system and Pokémon X and I haven’t got around to registering both so that is good, I can now take advantage of this promotion. I would have registered them both eventually but this will be a good time to do so.

Super Mario 3D World is out soon too so if you have a Wii U you should get it. If you don’t have a Wii U then with Super Mario 3D World, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD and more there’s plenty to play on Wii U these days.
