Well its the first day of a new year and a brand new 365 days. It is actually 2014 now but I thought that would be pretty obvious to most people. I celebrated the new year like it was 1982 by punching several group of men in the face with my fists while listening to my Sony Walkman.
It’s that time of the year again when the weather is bad, tons of sales are going on, presents are being giving and revived and you will probably eat too much. However while you are stuffing your face think about all the people in the post apocalypse wasteland who have to survive on radiated water and iguana bits. Toss a few bottle caps their way, if you can.
On Channel 4 (UK) at 9:00pm tonight they are showing the latest masterpiece by Charlie Brooker and its called “How Video Games Changed the World“. Charlie Brooker will be joined by Jonathan Ross, Dara O’Briain and various gaming icons like Will Wright that will help him go through about twenty games that they believed made a difference to the world.
The Creative Assembly have released a new trailer for Total War: Rome II which shows one of the historical battles you can play and try to change history with. In 9 AD, Teutoburg Forest was the scene of a big defeat for the Roman Empire (three Roman legions, along with their auxiliaries were destroyed).
