Warframe Review (PC) [Open Beta]

Warframe could of been a beacon for free-to-play.
Warframe could have been a beacon for free-to-play but is instead how not to do it.

Warframe is a year or so old free-to-play game from video game developers Digital Extremes. Anyone who has ever played a third person action game will recognise Warframe’s mechanics. So is it worthwhile to play and any good? This is My Scrambled Thoughts on Warframe.

The Elder Scrolls Online Review (PC) [Closed Beta]

John Cleese as seen better days and roles.
John Cleese as seen better days and roles.

I have heard the Elder Scrolls Online is not very good and I am not really expecting much from it seeing as I am basically over MMORPGs at this point. I am a fan of the Elder Scrolls games but from what I have seen they should have just added co-op to Elder Scrolls: Oblivion or Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and more people would probably enjoy it. My overall view of the game is mixed but this is My Scrambled Thoughts on The Elder Scrolls Online.

Company of Heroes 2 March Deployment Patch and Video are Now Available

Reminds me of Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 E3 trailer.
It’s like the Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 E3 trailer. “Look at the AI, they react”.

Video game publishers Sega and developers Relic Entertainment have released a new patch for Company of Heroes 2. This latest patch called the “March Deployment” adds some long need additions to the game such as weapon profiles and addresses some balance issues for the German and Russian armies. This all means early combat will be more focused on infantry, light vehicles and tactics. The patch also adds two new maps (Stalingrad and Angermuende) from the community and there is a new video which shows the new patch changes in action.

WildStar Review (PC) [Closed Beta]

If the whole game only had this race (Chua) then maybe it would be good.
If the whole game only had this race (Chua) then maybe it would be good.

I played the Elder Scrolls Online Beta last week and initially though it would be bad then I tried the game more and realising it was ok but after spending more time with the game I realised the game was pretty average. Now I am playing WildStar and The Elder Scrolls Online seems like it positively modern in comparison. I will go over what I think of the Elder Scrolls Online soon but what do I think of WildStar (Beta)? The following is My Scrambled Thoughts on WildStar.

You can duel wield everything ins Dark Souls II even shields. You can't wield your heart.
You can duel wield everything in Dark Souls II even shields but not your cold souls.

Dark Souls II like its predecessors Dark Souls and Demon Souls is an action role-playing game set in a semi open world. It is developed by From Software for PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and is published by Bandai Namco Games. The game is set in the same world as Dark Souls but has no direct story connection to Dark Souls and therefore can be played with out playing the other Soul games in the franchise.

The golden face of the top video games for 2013.

I said recently I would go into more detail for my top games of 2013 which I mentioned in my post for my awards for The Best Games of 2013 and Other Awards.
