Valve Corporation have recently introduced another new collectible to their expanding Steam system. It is sort of like the current achievements and badges but instead focuses on some good old fashioned trading card action. Steam Trading Cards is currently in Beta but you can already start earning cards in a select number of games.
Valve Corporation have today released its Steam Community Market public beta where you can now sell Team Fortress 2 items for Steam Wallet money which can’t be taken from the Steam system.

Valve Corporation have today announced a new six player co-operative game mode for Team Fortress 2 called Mann vs. Machine. Players will be against hordes of NPC controlled robot versions of the Team Fortress 2 cast. The update will include new maps and missions with new achievements and items to be earned.

Robot Entertainment the developers of Orcs Must Die will be releasing Hero Academy, a turn-based, two-player tactical game, old iOS game. On 8th August it will be available on PC via Steam and will allow cross-platform play.
The final day of the Pyromania event was released the other day. It includes new items, new achievements, a new game mode and Pyrovision.The Pyroland update is part of the Pyromania event for Team Fortress 2.

Christmas is coming early for all fans of Killing Floor. Tripwire Interactive has announced that the Twisted Christmas event will start next week, just in time for the holidays. Featuring Christmas themed specimens replacing all of the regular baddies, a brand new level – Santa’s Evil Lair, with new Christmas themed achievements with a special unlockable character and an all new difficultly level. Team Fortress 2’s Pyro will make a special guest appearance and be playable. Team Fortress 2 players will be able to get Mr. Foster’s trademark gas mask and business tie as items to be equipped on Pyro in Team Fortress 2.
