New Beautiful Dear Esther Gameplay Trailer and Eleven Amazing Screenshots

Not a werewolf in sight.

The first official Dear Esther trailer has appeared on the Dear Esther site, celebrating its four IGF award nominations, first review (8/10 from Edge Magazine)and its upcoming release on Steam on 14th February (valentines day).

The trailer and screenshots offers a glimpse of the lovely island that you explore in the game. It looks as though it’s going to be one the most beautiful thing ever made with the Source Engine. The Source Engine is pretty old now so it’s quite an achievement for the developers who originally made the game in 2008 as a mod for Half-Life 2, to make it look so good.

I chose this name for no obvious reason just randomly.

My diary days will be based on Minecraft’s in-game days and I will try to keep the writing to a minimum, to keep up the pace.
