Accolades are awards given to players who perform certain tasks in Tribes Ascend. Each award earned grants the player a certain amount of credits which only last that currently match.

Tribes: Ascend has been updated with new features and maps. The game has now changed to open beta status which means anyone can now play and try out the game for free. You should give it ago.

On the 24th 22nd February, Tribes: Ascend will leave closed beta and enter open beta however the game won’t launch officially until later this year. The game has started out well and developer Hi-Rez has made many improvements during the closed beta, which CEO Todd Harris says “exceeded expectations” with over 300,000 players.

The open beta is now available. I thought it was on Friday but it turns out its today. Servers are currently offline but you can download the latest patch or download the whole game if you are new to Tribes: Ascend while you wait.

EA and Starbreeze Studios remake of Bullfrog Productions classic strategy game Syndicate is available in all good stores or via EA’s digital platform.
The game has been getting good scores from the gaming media which goes to show you can remake an old game in a new genre with out messing it up. So much for the doom sayers “It’s going to be rubbish because it’s no longer a strategy game” statements.
I have started playing Tribes: Ascend recently so I though I do some guides for the game. This guide will help new players with the fundamentals of playing the game.
I will do more Tribes: Ascend guides in the future.
