The final day of the Pyromania event was released the other day. It includes new items, new achievements, a new game mode and Pyrovision.The Pyroland update is part of the Pyromania event for Team Fortress 2.
The Pyromania Update will be available tomorrow which will feature all the things that have and will be mention over on the Team Fortress site. Such as new items sets, game modes, maps and finally the Meet the Pyro video.
As part of Steams Midweek Madness you can once again get the Potato Sack for a limited time. The Potato Sack Reunion? It is a load of indie games at reduced prices on Steam, all linked together by a potato theme, it led to the Portal 2 ARG. They are now repeating it with a collection of thirteen indie games for £14.99.
There’s going to be another Zeno Clash game. It has been announced the it will be a sequel to the original Zeno Clash game and will be out next year.

As Ghat, players can fully and freely explore every natural and architectural wonder his world has to offer.” There’s a website here but expect it to be similar in tone and gameplay to the original.

A closed beta for Valve’s Steam mobile application (app) for iOS and Android devices launched today. The Steam application allows players to chat with friends, browse community groups, user profiles, view screenshots, and lots more.
Gabe Newell, co-founder and president of Valve Corporation said “The Steam app comes from many direct requests from our customers,”

I been using this application quite a bit and its pretty good for what it aims to do. Sure you can’t check your games library and play games but anything else Steam can do on PC you can now do on your mobile. It is still in beta so some of the features don’t fully work let.
Steam have passed five million concurrent users on the 2nd of January which was likely caused by the popularity of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and the Steam Christmas Sale. Valve have also confirmed that Steam had passed 30 million active accounts from October 2010 which has likely increased significantly since then.
