Terraria Will Be Available Tomorrow

Run for it!

Terraria which is released tomorrow for the PC, is similar to Minecraft in that you can build and customise the environment. Minecraft’s emphasis on gathering raw materials, item crafting and defending yourself at night is also present in Terraria. However Terraria takes a 2D sprite based approach on these ideas and adds plenty of unique features to the mix it self.

Terraria is more action packed than Minecraft, with boss fights, and plenty of weapons and gadgets to be made and found. Terraria also features NPCs that sell items and once found will wait for you at your base. Multiplayer is also supported and encouraged.

Minecraft Survival Diary, Day #2/4: All Aboard!

Hello I am King Toko and welcome to my Minecraft Diary. With the popularity of Minecraft and because I only just bought the game recently, I thought it be fun to do a regular diary based on my on going adventures and tribulations in the randomly created world I decided to call Avalon. I chose this name for no obvious reason just randomly.

My diary days will be based on Minecraft’s in-game days and I will try to keep the writing to a minimum, to keep up the pace.

Other important information; I am playing alone and on the hardest difficulty. If I die that’s it, game over and the world gets nuked. Also im not using any texture packs, skins or mods so the game will be played how intended, untouched.

One final note I’m no Minecraft veteran but I know enough.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Teaser Videos

Modern World 3.

After yesterdays leaked information about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, see it here and here. Activision and Infinity Ward has created four teaser trailers that confirm it all.

You can watch them below, each video shows one of the four countries that feature during the game. They don’t show any actual gameplay but they do show detailed recreated city landscapes such as London.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer Details Revealed

Wanted.

From Kotaku “Packed with 15 levels set in locations around the world, from Manhattan to the catacombs of Paris, Modern Warfare 3’s near-future campaign looks to be an experience that will top anything seen before in a Call of Duty game.

Multiplayer, too, seems to be shaping up to be an experience packed with new maps, experiences and ways to game.”

L.A. Noire Fills Three DVDs

Showing the age of the Xbox 360 and DVDs, more and more games are arriving on multiple discs, such as Final Fantasy XII and Lost Odyssey. Mass Effect 2 had two discs and apparently Rage will too. Rockstar Games L.A. Noire will arrive on three discs when it’s released later this month on Xbox 360.

“To tell the story and make the game we wanted to make, we knew that it was going to take an entire single layer Blu-ray disc and three Xbox discs,” said Rockstar.

Rockstar have said that the game’s MotionScan technology which is responsible for making the facial expressions of the game’s characters life-like is responsible for the need for more space.

Mass Effect 3 Delayed Until Early 2012

Worlds take time to be built.

Anyone who was looking forward to playing Mass Effect 3 this year will be disappointed. Mass Effect 3 has been delayed into early 2012.

“Today we have confirmed that Mass Effect 3 will be released in the first three months of 2012,” “The development team is laser focused on making sure Mass Effect 3 is the biggest, boldest and best game in the series, ensuring that it exceeds everyone’s expectations. We’ll have more details about specific dates as we get closer to release.”

The note appeared on BioWare’s message boards.
