The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Patch 1.2 and 1.3 is Available

Beautiful.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has been updated recently with two patches. Patch 1.3 is available on PC while only patch 1.2 is available on consoles at this moment. With the amount of bugs people have been reporting expect a lot more patches before DLC is released in the new year.

I have only experienced around 3 or so bugs with the main bug being my character not being able to get any “Rested”, “Well-Rested” or “Lover’s Comfort” bonuses even thought I have healed my Lycanthropy in the proper manner.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is Now Available

Finally I can go kill some dragons.

The next game of the excellent Bethesda Elder Scrolls series has been finally released to the public. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim should now be available worldwide in shops from today. Who needs Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 when you got Skyrim? I don’t that s why I didn’t buy them and it looks like Skyrim could be a lot of people’s game of the year.

I will be playing a lot of this from now on.

I have added The Animations of Skyrim video below to get you excited and see what the game is like if you havent played it yet.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Shout Locations [Updated!!!]

Time to shout!

These are the known shouts found so far in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. A shout is draconic language which has the powers of dragons. You can learn these powers by finding dragon tongue words on word walls. I will add more when I find them.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Achievements

Kill something and get rewarded.

This is the achievement list for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. These achievements are the same for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The PC version doesn’t have any achievements so you will have to pretend to get them. They are all mostly story related or faction related and will be acquired as you play normally such as “Unbound” (10 G) and “With Friends Like These…” (10 G). However some are more optional like getting “Married” (10 G). I like when games have achievements that are story related and fit how you might play the game naturally, similar to the Oblivion achievements.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Installed vs Uninstalled Screenshot Comparison

Blurry my dragon ass.

Apparently the Xbox 360 installed version of the latest Bethesda Elder Scrolls title looks worse than the non-installed version with worse textures and more. However by installing the Skyrim DVD on to your console hard drive can make load times quicker and mean your console will make less loud loading noises which can be very annoying.

Judge for yourself in the screenshots below.

Minecraft Official Release in November

Minecraft within Minecraft.

This November 11th Minecraft is finally released. On the same day as Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

The creator Markus ‘Notch’ Persson has said that:

The version we deem as the “full version” won’t be very different at all from what the game was like a week ago, and we’ll keep adding features after the release as well, so it’s really more of a milestone when we finally get rid of the Beta label, and some kind of goal for us to work towards.
