Developers Fool’s Theory is known for making Seven: The Days Long Gone. They also helped on Baldur’s Gate III, Divinity: Original Sin 2, and are remaking The Witcher (which I forgot about). While 11 bit studios are known for Anomaly: Warzone Earth, This War of Mine, and Frostpunk.
Previously known as Codename Vitriol and supposed to be announced in the summer of 2022, The Thaumaturge is an isometric RPG with turn-based combat and seems like a spiritual successor to Seven: The Days Long Gone and is inspired by games like Disco Elysium.
The Thaumaturge is a story-driven RPG with morally ambiguous choices, taking place in the culturally diverse world of early 20th century Warsaw. In this world, Salutors exist esoteric beings that only Thaumaturges can truly perceive and use for their needs.
Taking place in Warsaw in the year 1905 while Poland was part of the Russian Empire. A colourful cast of characters inhabit a metropolis of poverty, crime and wealth.
I wonder if the strikes during that period (such as the Łódź insurrection) will be a factor in the game? The Combat Organization of the Polish Socialist Party (PPS) might make an appearance?

In the game, you play as a person who returns home where they must face their past. They are a thaumaturge (a Witcher) user of thaumaturgy and trained in being able to tame spirit-like beings called Salutors. Only the thaumaturges can perceive their true nature. You will use the Salutors abilities when interacting with others and in combat, like in Pokemon.
This is the game I am most excited about (at the moment). A mix of Vampyr and Disco Elysium should make a unique game.
I like the early 20th-century setting, and the game looks impressive already.
I always wanted to check out Seven: The Days Long Gone, and this game seems like it might be similar, so I might need to take a look at that.
Gameplay is expected to be shown during the Game Developers Conference in March.
So far, the game has only been announced for PC, but I can see it coming out on consoles and will probably do well on the Nintendo Switch.
