Team Fortress 2: Very Scary Halloween Special has Started

The Demoman's acid trip didn't go to plan.

The third annual Team Fortress 2 Scream Fortress has now started. This is Valve’s annual Halloween inspired event for Team Fortress 2. They have done a different one for the last three years and they are always worth checking out.

By taking part you get the chace of getting new items and costumes for each class. They have also added a few new achievements which are related to the current Halloween event.

Magicka: The Stars are Left Announced

Arrowhead and Paradox have announced a new expansion for Magicka. It’s called The Stars Are Left, The press release states that its:

“Designed for players who love to craft the hundreds of different spells available in Magicka, this new campaign will pit up to four wizards at once against a horror-mystery inspired by the popular Cthulhu Mythos. The Stars are Left will boast a much requested feature from the players – a new adventure campaign, including several terrifying new enemies, bosses awakened from the depths of insanity, and several other miscellaneous Miskatonic minions.”

It also goes on to say that only the host of a multiplayer game will need the DLC for others to be able to play, which is good.

Batman: Arkham City Now Available

"Where is everyone?"

The Dark knight has made hes return to Gotham City in the new game Arkham City. The game is a sequel to the 2009 hit game Batman: Arkham Asylum which is based on the universe of DC Comics superhero Batman.

The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions should now be available in all good video game retailers across the land. I don’t know whether the Catwoman DLC situation has been resolved yet but it probably has.
