Developer VBlank have announced that Retro City Rampage will be available on the 9th October in North America for PC, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita. PlayStation users will only need to purchase the game once to play it on both devices as it features cross-buy which is good.

Just Add Water has come up with a new name for its Abe’s Oddysee remake. The game is now called Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee New N’ Tasty! They were originally going to add HD to the end of the original title, like many other HD releases. However as they are remaking the game and not such updating its visuals, adding HD to the end might not show how much effort is being put into the remake.

4J Studios have announced that the console version of Minecraft has sold four million copies so far.
The developer said on Twitter “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has passed 4 million sales! Incredible number, thanks to you all!,” So well done to them.

Announced at the Tokyo Game Show, Phantasy Star Online 2 will be available free-to-play to all Japanese PlayStation Vita players. There will be restrictions in place to using the free version.
