Publisher Ubisoft and developer Ubisoft Montreal have released two more trailers, one screenshot and three artworks for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. The latest Assassin’s Creed game takes place around the 18th century during the golden age of piracy.

Valve Corporation have recently introduced another new collectible to their expanding Steam system. It is sort of like the current achievements and badges but instead focuses on some good old fashioned trading card action. Steam Trading Cards is currently in Beta but you can already start earning cards in a select number of games.

Rift Going Free-to-Play Next Month. Also New Video

Trion Worlds the developers of Rift have announced that Rift will be going to free-to-play in June and will allow players to experience the entire game and get access to all past and future game updates. Think of it as a very long demo as many things will still need to be bought with real money.

Video Game Developer Grasshopper Manufacture and video game publisher Kadokawa Games upcoming game Killer is Dead will feature an interesting idea to incentivise people to buy the game on first day it gets released. The main character in Killer is Dead is Mondo Zappa and he can try to woo the ladies in Gigolo Mode missions. These women are called “Mondo Girls” and if you want to date them all you will need to get Killer is Dead at launch as Betty is a DLC code which comes with only the first units of the game.

Precursor Games Shadow of the Eternals is seen by many as a spiritual successor to Silicon Knights great GameCube game Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem. The developers have now released a nine minute demo video of the game to help support their crowd funding campaign and several new screenshots.
