A demo of Final Fantasy XIII-2 is now available on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The free download is 1.29 GB.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is being produced by Square Enix’s 1st Production Department, with help from external developer tri-Ace. It is a direct sequel to the 2009 role-playing game, Final Fantasy XIII.

EA and DICE have now released the Physical Warfare Pack DLC for Battlefield 3 which was previously only available as an exclusive pre-order item. It is now available to everyone for free.
The pack includes the DAO-12 shotgun, Type 88 Light Machine Gun and a flash suppressor for the SKS sniper rifle.

The Dungeon Defenders Halloween Character and Mission DLC Packs are out and have been available for a while now. They are currently free on Steam but this might change in the future or be unavailable so take advantage of it while you can.
You will need to play on the ranked TrendyNet servers to take part in the Halloween event.

To celebrate Halloween Trendy Entertainment has started the Dungeon Defenders Halloween Spooktacular event which offers two free Halloween inspired DLC packs and a patch which makes various Halloween themed changes to the Tavern.
At the moment only the Halloween themed Tavern is available because the DLC packs haven’t been released just yet.
Update! The DLC packs are now free and available on Steam.

The third annual Team Fortress 2 Scream Fortress has now started. This is Valve’s annual Halloween inspired event for Team Fortress 2. They have done a different one for the last three years and they are always worth checking out.
By taking part you get the chace of getting new items and costumes for each class. They have also added a few new achievements which are related to the current Halloween event.

The excellent 4-player co-op tower defence game Dungeon Defenders now has a demo available. Anyone interested in trying out the game before buying should check it out. You can get it here.
Console versions of Dungeon Defenders also have a demo available on their respected marketplaces.

The closed beta for Blizzard’s Diablo III is now available. The first group of invitations have been sent out, with more participants being added later.
The closed beta allows you alone or with your friends to play through part of the game’s first act as any of the game’s five classes, barbarian, witch doctor, monk, demon hunter or wizard. You will able to fight the final boss of the closed beta the Skeleton King, talk with characters in the Sanctuary and mess around with the skill and crafting systems.

Vindictus Europe’s closed beta testing is now available for people who managed to get a closed beta key.
The beta has been available for a few days now but I only just remembered so I’m going to try it out and I will probably give my opinions of what I think of Vindictus soon.
The closed beta will only run from September 15th to September 19th.

The original RuneScape Classic is now currently available to celebrate 10 years of the browser-based MMO. You’ll need to play between now and the 29th September in order to gain access.
RuneScape creator Jagex wants fans and newcomers to see how far the game has progressed in 10 years.
