God I despise award ceremonies and everything has an award ceremony these days. I forgot to watch the Spike Video Game Awards show last night but I am glad I did because most award ceremonies are cringe worthy to watch especially video game based ones. If last years one was anything to go by then I doubt much has changed. Anyway here’s the winners or I could say losers.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim newest add-on called Dragonborn came out last Tuesday exclusively for the Xbox 360. Its costs 1600 Microsoft Points and seems like a pretty meaty piece of content for the game. It should be for the price they are asking for it.

Bethesda Softworks have released some new pictures for the third Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim official expansion Dragonborn. PC and PlayStation players will have to wait for This DLC like always as it’s currently exclusive to the Xbox 360 and no other platforms have been announced so far.

Assassin’s Creed Anthology is Out Soon. Also My Thoughts on What is Cheaper Digital or Physical?

Soon on the 30th November PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners will be able to own every Assassin’s Creed game and DLC add-on for a total of £119.99 the publisher Ubisoft announced last week with the Assassin’s Creed Anthology pack. I will in this post explore whether you save more money if you buy them all individually via digital distribution than just getting the Assassin’s Creed Anthology pack instead.

The third official expansion for Bethesda Softworks The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is due out on the Xbox Live Marketplace on the 4th December for 1600 Microsoft Points. Theres not much details about it yet but I have found out some information and there is a new trailer for Dragonborn available.

Over on Steam to celebrate Halloween they have started the 2012 Halloween Sale on loads of scary related video games. A lot of these games are worth buying especially if you don’t have them yet. They should help you get into mood for Halloween, in other words terrified.

Killing Floor: Hillbilly Horror Event is Available

The Killing Floor Halloween Sideshow this year has been replaced with the Hillbilly Horror Event. With all new hillbilly inspired re-skins of the orignal enemies from the game. A new map, fifteen new achievements (six only available during the event), four new weapons and a new playable character, the Grim Reaper.

Two New Borderlands 2 Trailers for Two New DLC Packs

How much Gearbox Software hope to make from the Mechromancer DLC.

Borderlands 2 has two new DLC packs available, the first is called Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty which to old players of the Borderlands franchise will recognise the format with previous DLC packs. You download it and play a side story in the Borderlands universe gaining cool new loot as you do. The second DLC pack is called the Mechromancer (Gaige) which adds a new class to Borderlands 2.

Why celebrate a one year birthday? Not like it will remember.

Over on Steam Trendy Entertainment have made some more DLC to the ever-growing list of DLC available for the game. This one is a bit different thought as it celebrates the one year anniversary of Dungeon Defenders being released. Its called the Dungeon Defenders Anniversary Pack and requires the original Dungeon Defenders game to play.

The newest expansion for World of Warcraft, Mists of Pandaria has expectedly help boost subscriptions with Blizzard Entertainment selling twenty-seven million copies in the expansions first week. World of Warcraft subscribers have passed the ten million mark again.
