Borderlands 2 has two new DLC packs available, the first is called Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty which to old players of the Borderlands franchise will recognise the format with previous DLC packs. You download it and play a side story in the Borderlands universe gaining cool new loot as you do. The second DLC pack is called the Mechromancer (Gaige) which adds a new class to Borderlands 2.

I havent tried either out but I think I am going to wait for all the DLC to get released then buy it all in one big single collection. I havent even bought Borderland 2 yet so I will save money if I wait.
Both of the DLC costs around £8.00 which I am sure Captain Scarlett is worth as it adds several more hours to the whole game experience. However as the Mechromancer is just a new class if you aren’t a completionist or don’t want to start a whole new game then you will likely not even touch this piece of DLC.
What this shows is that people who wait get the best deal in the end.
