Path of Exile has been updated with new features, skills, abilities and a lot more.
The game is in closed beta.
Patch 0.9.7 was released on Monday 19th March 2012.

Tribes: Ascend has been updated with a new CTF map “Sunstar”, new server locations “The European server region has been split into two regions and stability” and various other improvements.
The game is in open beta which means anyone can now play and try out the game for free.
Patch 0.1.848.0 was deployed on Tuesday 20th March 2012.

Last week at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, Hi-Rez Studios announced that Tribes: Ascend will be released on 12th April 2012. It is currently in Open Beta.
Tribes: Ascend is a fast paced sci-fi FPS for the PC. Hi-Rez Studios also released a parody trailer titled “Tribes Ascend – Llama Island.” Which can be seen above.

Tribes: Ascend has been updated with new features “You may view available and earned badges, as well as accolades and general stats, through the Profile menu”, maps “Team Deathmatch map has been added (Outskirts)” and perks “Two new perks have been added”. The game is in open beta which means anyone can now play and try out the game for free.
Server Downtime: The Tribes Servers are expected to be down for a number of hours on 5th March while the patch is deployed. Watch the Server Status on the game loader for the latest availability information.

On the 24th 22nd February, Tribes: Ascend will leave closed beta and enter open beta however the game won’t launch officially until later this year. The game has started out well and developer Hi-Rez has made many improvements during the closed beta, which CEO Todd Harris says “exceeded expectations” with over 300,000 players.

The open beta is now available. I thought it was on Friday but it turns out its today. Servers are currently offline but you can download the latest patch or download the whole game if you are new to Tribes: Ascend while you wait.

A closed beta for Valve’s Steam mobile application (app) for iOS and Android devices launched today. The Steam application allows players to chat with friends, browse community groups, user profiles, view screenshots, and lots more.
Gabe Newell, co-founder and president of Valve Corporation said “The Steam app comes from many direct requests from our customers,”

I been using this application quite a bit and its pretty good for what it aims to do. Sure you can’t check your games library and play games but anything else Steam can do on PC you can now do on your mobile. It is still in beta so some of the features don’t fully work let.

Notch has also said that the Beta 1.10 release will be coming soon, with more Adventure specific updates.

The closed beta for Blizzard’s Diablo III is now available. The first group of invitations have been sent out, with more participants being added later.
The closed beta allows you alone or with your friends to play through part of the game’s first act as any of the game’s five classes, barbarian, witch doctor, monk, demon hunter or wizard. You will able to fight the final boss of the closed beta the Skeleton King, talk with characters in the Sanctuary and mess around with the skill and crafting systems.
