Publishers Daedalic Entertainment and NACON have announced that their upcoming Lord of the Rings game will be out on the 25th of May. The adventure game where players journey across Middle-earth as Sméagol (Gollum).
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is a story-driven action adventure where you play as Gollum searching for your precious. You can explore the world and sneak past dangers or into advantageous locations.
As Gollum, you have a split personality. Will you join the dark side of Gollum? or the more forgiving and gentler side of Sméagol?
The game could be a fun take on the world of Lord of the Rings. I am still worried by the way it looks. The characters look odd in places.
The game will release on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X, and Nintendo Switch. A physical edition for consoles will also be available.
