Publisher Daedalic Entertainment and developer Vixa Games are joining forces to bring the 2D survival horror adventure game Edge of Sanity to Steam.
Edge of Sanity is a survival horror adventure game that takes place in the wilderness of Alaska during the Cold War. In it, you go on story-based expeditions while trying not to lose your sanity and find food and supplies. You will also face Lovecraftian-inspired enemies on these expeditions.
The game will allow you to build a base camp. Where you assign survivors on missions, such as finding more food or water.
Edge of Sanity is very reminiscent of Darkest Dungeon. Both have a similar base mechanic, sanity system, and art style. Darkest Dungeon was a good game, so hopefully, Edge of Sanity will live up to those comparisons.
Edge of Sanity will be available on PC sometime in 2023.
