Developer Sweet Bandits Studios and Publisher Tripwire Presents (Tripwire Interactive) have released Deceive Inc. a spy FPS multiplayer game.
In Deceive Inc. players work for corporations with a complete monopoly over the international espionage market. Players can disguise themselves as anyone on the map (like Spy from Team Fortress 2).
Each spy has a unique set of gadgets, skills, and weapons that can be customised. Other players will try to stop you from completing objectives and have the same goals.
I tried the game out in the recent Beta and had an okay time. I didn’t play it long enough to get a good feel. I also didn’t play online, so I don’t know how well it works with other real players.
However, it looks and plays well. I could see it becoming popular if it is polished up more. It has all the usual trappings of a Season Pass, which offer different costumes and characters. It could be a great little online game.
The game is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and X.
