Today it’s Crysis a 2007 first-person shooter video game developed by Crytek and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows (PC). It is the first game in the Crysis series. A separate game entitled Crysis Warhead was released on 16th September 2008, and follows similar events as Crysis but from a different narrative perspective. At the time Crysis was released, and years thereafter, it has been praised for its milestones in graphical design (high hardware requirements).
This is the achievement list for Crysis 2. These achievements are the same for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The PC version doesn’t have any achievements so you will have to pretend to get them. They are the usual complete a level on various difficulties. They also contain multiplayer ones which are of the usual type. The achievement called “Dedication” (25 G) which requires you to play online 6 months after your first time, is a cheap way to get people to come back at least once after they likely stopped playing. After playing the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo on Xbox 360 I am feeling a bit more optimistic about the games multiplayer credentials. I will most likely review it soon.
There are 50 achievements with a total of 1000 Gamerscore.
These are my thoughts and opinions on the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo which is now available on the official site and on steam. These are my impressions of the pc version and what you can expect to experience, see and do in the demo. I will try to give as much detail as possible but I will mostly concentrate on the things I feel are the most important.
The Crysis 2 multiplayer demo is now available from Steam and many other download sites. It is also available on Xbox 360 with a PlayStation 3 version arriving sometime in the future.
It is 1.5GB in size and contains two playable maps Skyline and Pier 17, both look completely different. Skyline is set on top of a skyscraper in New York while Pier 17 is set in a pier type setting (shock). Pier 17 is the better map because of its variety but Skyline is a good compact map. There are also two game modes, Team Instant Action (team deathmatch) and Crash Site (defend a location).
