Miasma Chronicles is Out in May

I have a feeling Elvis is about to leave the building.

505 Games, the publisher of the upcoming tactical RPG Miasma Chronicles, has announced the game will be out on 23rd May. Miasma Chronicles is made by The Bearded Ladies, the developers of the underrated Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden.

In the game, you play as Elvis (not the singer) and a young man with a special glove which allows him to control the “Miasma,” which is an entity that corrupts anyone who comes into contact with it.

Through the game, meet and be joined by other outlander characters who will help in your quest.

The new Star Wars force powers are getting ridiculous.
Worship the rain and the miasma.
Even in the post-apocalypse, chickens are still getting slaughtered.

The world takes place in real-time, while combat is turn-based. The usual RPG mechanics are present, like gaining new skills and weapons.

Players of Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden will see the similarities. However, they have taken that game and idea to a new level in detail. I like the design of the characters and world better in this game.

Miasma Chronicles launches digitally on 23rd May 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S. A retail version of the game will be available from 9th June 2023 in Europe and 20th June 2023 in North America.
