Developer Magic Design Studios and publisher Gearbox Publishing have released a death rogue-like called Have a Nice Death. A 2D action game where you play as an overworked Death.
Have a Nice Death was released last year on Steam Early Access and is now fully released. During that time, new bosses, enemies, and stories were added.
As the game is rogue-like, you will travel through procedurally-generated departments of Death Inc., meeting unique characters and fighting his former employees. If you fail in a run, you die (sort of), and you can carry some improvements and upgrades onto the next run.
It is reminiscent of Hades by Supergiant Games, which isn’t a terrible thing to be compared to.
The game is now available on PC and Nintendo Switch.
