Creative Assembly and Sega have released a trailer and information about a new faction coming to Total War: Warhammer III.
Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs campaign pack adds the Chaos Dwarfs to the game, usable in both Realm of Chaos and Immortal Empires campaigns. The latter allows you to combine all three Total War: Warhammer maps and factions into one grand strategy map.
The DLC adds three Legendary Lords: Astragoth Ironhand, Drazhoath the Ashen, and Zhatan the Black. It will also add an army roster of over twenty-six new units. The war machine trains and the new K’daai Destroyers, alongside infernal warriors. In ways, they are similar to Dwarfs but have Goblins and Orc slaves to bolster their ranks.
I always like dwarfs in fantasy worlds, and while these are chaotic versions, I still like them. The Chaos Dwarfs take the industrial might of the Dwarfs and The Empire and quadruple it. They are like the Germans from World War I with their funny helmets.
At the price of £19.99, the cost seems high. I have not played a Total War: Warhammer game since the first one. This DLC only makes me slightly want to play it.
The DLC will be released on 13th April 2023 for PC, and the base game is still available on PC Game Pass.
