What to Watch (13/04/15): Giant Bomb Quicklook Live with Mortal Kombat X & Grand Theft Auto V. Also Related Videos

A Video Feature.
A Giant Bomb double-headed video presentation.

Over on Giant Bomb (here) at 10.00pm (UK) the team will be doing a live Quicklook of Grand Theft Auto V (PC) and Mortal Kombat X (PlayStation 4/Xbox One/PC). Both these games come out tomorrow so these Quicklooks should give you a better idea if you should buy them.

Giant Bomb have been doing more Live Quicklooks and Live Shows lately with a long lull after the death of Ryan Davis which is good. I am also assuming this broadcast will be a free show instead of a premium one like they normally do.

You can watch Giant Bomb’s previous Mortal Kombat and Grand Theft Auto V Quicklooks below.

Quick Look Live: Mortal Kombat (Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3).

Quick Look Grand Theft Auto V (PlayStation 4).

Mortal Kombat X is developed by NetherRealm Studios, High Voltage Software, and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on 14th April 2015. PlayStation 3 and, Xbox 360 versions will be available in early/middle 2015. An iOS version came out on 7th April 2015 but doesn’t seem very worthwhile getting or playing.

Grand Theft Auto V is developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games and is already available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Last generation versions originally came out on 17th September 2013 then the current generation versions came out on 18th November 2014. This PC version will come out on 14th April 2015 after several delays.

The gaming press have gone crazy over the Grand Theft Auto V console versions and don’t expect that to change with the PC version either. The PC version will offer advanced features just as a replay editor (like in Grand Theft Auto IV) and improved visuals. The Mortal Kombat reboot did well and was highly praised so expect Mortal Kombat X to be a well made fighter if not as revolutionary as the 2011 version was. If anything this game should be called Mortal Kombat II even if it is the tenth (X) main game.
