Markus Persson has announced that Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has made $60 million in sales and sold more than three million units since its launch in May. Notch said “I got told Minecraft for XBLA passed three million sales today!”
The Xbox 360 version is developed by 4J Studios and quickly broke records on the Xbox Live Marketplace by selling 400,000 copies on its first day on sale. While in less than a week it had managed to sell one million.
