Mojang and 4J Studios have released a new update for the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft a few days ago to coincide with the Xbox 360 version one year anniversary. Two new skin packs: the Battle ‘N’ Beasts pack and the Minecraft 1st Birthday pack are also available to download from the Xbox Live Marketplace. The Battle ‘N’ Beasts pack DLC costs 160 Microsoft Points and the 1st Birthday pack DLC is free. This update mostly includes gameplay tweaks and bug fixes.

Video Game Developer Grasshopper Manufacture and video game publisher Kadokawa Games have once again released some more media related to their announced Killer is Dead game which is the spiritual successor to one of the best games of the last generation Killer7 and the game I have never tried No More Heroes.

The Best Video Games of 2012 and Other Awards

Only after five months I have finally got around to doing my awards for the best games of last year. I have put together a list of the best PC and Xbox 360 games from 2012.

To qualify for an award I must have played the game in the last 12 months (2011-2012) but the game doesn’t have to be released in 2012. Also if I haven’t played a game yet it can’t be up for an award as I wont know whether its good or not.

Rockstar Games a few days ago released some more screenshots for Grand Theft Auto V and three character trailers. They feature the usual mix of landscapes, vehicles and sand box hijinks. The mask wearing and Heat style heist stuff is looking interesting.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition is Out Next Month

Bethesda Softworks announced last week that they will be releasing the complete Skyrim collection with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition. It will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on the 4th June in North America for $59.99 and in Europe on 7th June for about £39.00 or more likely £39.99.

Mojang released a two new update for the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft a not that long ago. It includes new things such as “The End”, climbable vines, and two new music tracks, gameplay tweaks, bug fixes and much more.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Patch 1.9 is Available on Consoles and PC

Skyrim patch 1.9 is available for download on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Skyrim newest patch features the new Legendary setting which can be used on skills that are currently at 100. The update was only available as part of the Steam Beta Update for PC but is now official released for PC and Xbox 360.
