Microsoft and Xbox have released their next generation of consoles today. There is two to choose from: the 4K compatible Xbox Series X or the disc-less Xbox Series S. Both will play your old games and have access to Game Pass.
This post is a summary of all the main game announcements from all eight E3 press conferences. These conference took place between 8th and 11th June 2019.
The fifth post release patch was released yesterday for Sea of Thieves. It mostly fixes bugs such as sinking ships flying in the air when sunk and weapon loadouts, but there are some minor convenience changes too. There is no new content.
The fourth post release patch was released on Wednesday for Sea of Thieves. It mostly fixes bugs such as various UI issues but “the first legendary ship customisations” for Pirate Legends have been added.
The third post release patch was released on Wednesday for Sea of Thieves. It mostly fixes some bugs such as the problem with having two weapons, but the main change is adding a message on the Ferry of the Damned instructing players how to scuttle their ships. There is no new content been added to the game so far.
The second post release patch is now available for Sea of Thieves. It mostly fixes some bugs but it also changes how ship respawning works. There is no new content been added to the game so far.
Sea of Thieves at the moment is an acquired taste like Marmite. If you are willing to look pass all its shortcoming there is some fun to be had but it is undoubtedly a skeleton of a game. Therefore I have come up with three very easy ways the game could be improved by the developers in literally a few hours.
The first post release patch is now available for Sea of Thieves. It mostly fixes problems people have been suffering from such as missing items, character details, and lag. The developers have also decided not to implement any “Death Cost” features. Which means you won’t be punished for players or environment related deaths. There is also no new content been added to the game so far.
Microsoft said on Tuesday that the new dashboard update for Xbox 360 was being released. The new update which was in beta testing earlier this year, will reach about three million people at the start with additional users being added over the coming weeks.
Microsoft have released the complete list of Xbox 360 achievements for Halo 4. As always the list probably contains some spoilers.
343 Industries said “Our primary goal when creating Halo 4’s achievements was to reward milestones and increase replay value while balancing both difficulty and the breadth of game modes. Our secondary goal was to live up to Halo tradition with weird ass names for some of them.”
