Today it’s Mario Tennis a 2001 sports game developed by Camelot and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Color (GBC). It was also released on the Nintendo 64. It features a wide variety of human and Mario characters for the player to use. The game also features mini-games such as a tennis version of a shooting gallery where, as Donkey Kong, the player must hit the banana targets on the wall to earn points in a set amount of time.

Good Game: Metal Gear Solid (GBC)

A Good Game a day for the rest of time perhaps?

Today it’s Metal Gear Solid (Metal Gear: Ghost Babel) a 2000 2D stealth action game developed and published by Konami for the Game Boy Color. Ghost Babel was produced by Konami Computer Entertainment Japan after they were commissioned by Konami’s European branch to develop a portable adaptation of their 1998 PlayStation game Metal Gear Solid. The game is not part of the mainline Metal Gear series, but rather it is set in an alternate continuity seven years after the events of the original Metal Gear.

Good Game: Resident Evil Gaiden (GBC)

A Good Game a day for the rest of time perhaps?

Today it’s Resident Evil Gaiden, a 2001 action-adventure game co-developed by Capcom and M4 and published by Virgin Interactive for Game Boy Color (GBC). The story revolves around a viral outbreak on a passenger ship and has Leon S. Kennedy and Barry Burton return as protagonists.

Good Game: Pokémon Pinball (GBC)

A Good Game a day for the rest of time perhaps?

Today it’s Pokémon Pinball a 1999 pinball-based Pokémon video game developed by Jupiter and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Color. It was first released in Japan on 14th April 1999. In it, the ball is a Poké Ball, and the objects on the table are Pokémon-related.
