Blizzard Entertainment have announced that it’s bringing Diablo III to the Xbox 360 and not just the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. A release date has also now been revealed for the release of the game on current generation consoles.
Torchlight II will be out on 20th September this year and there’s not much else to say about that. However it is good to see that Torchlight II finally has a release date after which seems like ages.
Blizzard Entertainment have finally sorted out their Diablo III systems enough that people can now try out the Starter Edition for free. It is basically a demo and is available through Battle.net. With the Starter Edition you can fight up to the Skeleton King boss in Act I and get to level 13 all without having to purchase Diablo III.
Diablo III‘s real money auction house was made available on America servers yesterday and is now heading to EU servers on Friday. It was originally meant to be released on 13th June.
Diablo III‘s real money auction house is here and of course optional. Europe and other territories, meanwhile, will gain access in “the near future”. Also to use it you will need to use Blizzards Authenticator.
Blizzard have announced that Diablo III beta will now be available to anyone with a “valid Battle.net account”.
The game has been under closed beta for several months now and is finally been open to the wider public. This will give everyone the chance to “team up with friends, and play each of the five heroic classes to level 13”.
Finally the release date has been confirmed by Blizzard. May 15th 2012 is when you can get your hands on Diablo III. I hope the people who were in the beta actually helped make the game better.
