The Steam Summer Sale will last from 11th June to 21st June 2015.

On the 27th April Battle Brothers developed by Overhype Studios got released on Steam Early Access, I mentioned it on Twitter on release but I finally got around to writing a bit about it. New video Game developer Playtonic Games (Founded 10th February 2015) announced recently that a team of ex-Rare veterans would be working on a spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie with “Project Ukelele”. The game has tuned out to be called Yooka-Laylee, and is similar to the previous franchise as the title refers to the game two main characters. Instead of Banjo the Honey Bear and Kazooie the Red-Crested Breegull, players will now control Yooka the green bloke with no pants and Laylee the wise cracking lady-bat with a big nose.

Over on Giant Bomb (here) at 07.00pm (BST)/11.00am (PDT)/04.00am (AET) the team will be doing their 4th annual Live Show after a three-year hiatus. These shows normally go on for half of the day or more and are normally filled with loads of special guests, fun, and games as a way to promote their premium memberships.
