Sea of Thieves at the moment is an acquired taste like Marmite. If you are willing to look pass all its shortcoming there is some fun to be had but it is undoubtedly a skeleton of a game. Sea of Thieves Patch 1.0.1 is Now Available

The first post release patch is now available for Sea of Thieves. It mostly fixes problems people have been suffering from such as missing items, character details, and lag. The developers have also decided not to implement any “Death Cost” features. Which means you won’t be punished for players or environment related deaths. There is also no new content been added to the game so far.
