Black Salt Games and Team17 have released a new update to the game. The update adds new deep-sea aberrations, wildlife events, a new monster, a Photo Mode, and a Passive Mode.
To take photos, you need to fish out a piece of equipment and exchange it with a photographer for a new item. Passive mode allows players to play the game without suffering damage from monsters. Wildlife events include pods of orca whales, a whale shark and more. The new monster is a ray type of creature.
The update also has some settings, adjustments, and fixes for the game.
I haven’t returned to Dredge after finishing my review. You can read it here: Dredge Review. The first two updates are welcomed but don’t add much for players who have already completed the game to come back to. The game needs more quests and areas to explore.
Dredge is available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series S and X.
