Developer Drattzy Games and publisher Gravity Games Arise have released Alterium Shift in Steam Early Access. The game is a retro and Japanese-inspired RPG.
In it, you explore the world of Alteria with turn-based combat, mini-games, and branching storylines. There are three characters that supposedly offer different playthroughs. You can play as Pyra, a spear user, Atlas, an archer, or Sage, the mage.
The game uses a mix of 2D and 3D graphics with pixel art. Similar to other RPGs in the genre.
The game is made by two people, so expectations should be set to a suitable level. Despite this, it looks pretty impressive already. I may review it if I have time.
Alterium Shift is now available on Steam Eary Access, with a full release expected in late 2023 or sometime in 2024.
