Publisher Top Hat Studios and developer Molegato have announced Frogun Encore. A sequel to the PlayStation and Nintendo 64-inspired first game.
Frogun Encore is a retro-inspired platformer, evident from its looks and gameplay. The sequel will expand upon the original with more moves available and locations to explore by travelling in a plane.
Frogun Encore adds couch co-op to the game, like the 2D Mario games. You will also be able to take pictures with photo mode.
I like the way the Frogun games look. While I haven’t played them, they look like something I would enjoy. They remind me of the old Mega Man games and early 3D games.
Frogun Encore will be released sometime in the summer of 2023 for PC. No console ports have been announced so far.
