A Good Game a day for the rest of time perhaps?
Today it’s Grand Theft Auto 2 a 1999 open-world action-adventure video game developed by DMA Design and published by Rockstar Games for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation (PS). It is the sequel to Grand Theft Auto, part of the Grand Theft Auto series. The open world design lets players freely roam Anywhere City, the setting of the game.
The game is played from a top down perspective and its world is navigated on foot or by vehicle. Its successor, Grand Theft Auto III, was released on 22nd October 2001.
The opening cutscene of the game was pieced together using live-action footage taken from an eight-minute short film created for the purpose of advertising the game, retrospectively known as GTA 2: The Movie. This film has since been made available to the public. Claude Speed (the game’s playable protagonist) is played by Scott Maslen in the film.
