“Can you resist the evil within you, forge a legend of heroic proportions, and ultimately destroy the dark essence that haunts your dreams? Or will you embrace your monstrous nature, carve a swath of destruction across the realms, and ascend to godhood as the new Lord of Murder?”

Both Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition and Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition have been generally well received by critics and fans but there have been reports of bugs and problems with both games. If you already have the original Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate II then you may question if its worth getting the Enhanced Editions, I would only get them if you are a really big fan and/or you don’t like to use unofficial patches and game modifications. Either way they are on sale now and you can also get them digital rights management free too. Beamdog are working on Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition so that is also something to consider when deciding to buy the enhanced editions.

Remember it is cheaper to buy both games at the same time rather than individually.
