Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition
From gog.com: “Since its initial release in 1998, Baldur’s Gate has entertained millions of fans around the globe and has received countless awards. This classic saga of mystery, intrigue, and adventure has set the standard for Dungeons & Dragons™ computer roleplaying games ever since.”
“Running on an upgraded and improved version of the Infinity Engine, Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition™ includes the entire Baldur’s Gate adventure, the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion pack, and never-before-seen content including a new adventure and three new party members: the Calishite monk Rasaad yn Bashir, Neera the wild mage, and Dorn Il-Khan, the evil blackguard.”
Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition
“Kidnapped. Imprisoned. Tortured. The wizard Irenicus holds you captive in his stronghold, attempting to strip you of the powers that are your birthright.”
“Can you resist the evil within you, forge a legend of heroic proportions, and ultimately destroy the dark essence that haunts your dreams? Or will you embrace your monstrous nature, carve a swath of destruction across the realms, and ascend to godhood as the new Lord of Murder?”

Both Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition and Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition have been generally well received by critics and fans but there have been reports of bugs and problems with both games. If you already have the original Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate II then you may question if its worth getting the Enhanced Editions, I would only get them if you are a really big fan and/or you don’t like to use unofficial patches and game modifications. Either way they are on sale now and you can also get them digital rights management free too. Beamdog are working on Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition so that is also something to consider when deciding to buy the enhanced editions.
Remember it is cheaper to buy both games at the same time rather than individually.
