Humble Weekly Sale is Available and Features the Complete Alan Wake Collection and a Lot More

The Humble Bundle’s Humble Weekly Sale has returned, and is currently providing Max Payne famed developer Remedy Entertainment Alan Wake games. For less than a week (six days), you can choose your own amount for Alan Wake: Collector’s Edition, containing the bonus episodes “The Writer”, and “The Signal”. You will also get the standalone DLC pack American Nightmare and lastly you will get videos, art, game screenplays and more bonuses such as the developer commentary videos, an illustrated PDF book, and the Alan Wake soundtrack.

Remedy Entertainment have also released a video recently of creative director Sam Lake in wich he explains the unlikely future of Alan Wake franchise even though Alan Wake has now sold three million units since launch.

Remedy Entertainment creative director Sam Lake said “When the game was released, that was not the case immediately even though we worked hard on it, the sequel was not happening. The time was not right for it. Sure we could have gone ahead and created something less ambitious, but we felt that would not have done justice to you guys, to us. We want to be really proud of everything we create. Certainly, it wouldn’t have done justice to Alan Wake.”

On Tuesdays Xbox One reveal show, Remedy Entertainment announced that they were working on a new title called Quantum Break so don’t expect a new Alan Wake game or even a Max Payne (unlikely) game anytime soon.

Currently the Humble Weekly Sale at time of writing has made a total of $436,221.28 with 196,005 purchases and an average purchase of $2.23 which is impressive but you only need to pay above $1.00 for Steam keys and that is what people are doing. Its better to pay something for games than pirate them but a lot of gamers are pretty tight. I am pretty sure most of the people paying around $2.00 could pay more. You can’t even buy a beer for £1.32.

Sales are currently also available on all Alan Wake games and avatar items on Xbox Live Marketplace.
