PopCap Games have announced the sequel to Plants vs Zombies will be called Plants vs Zombies 2: It’s About Time and has now got a release date. They have also released trailer which features a number of Internet celebrities.

I am not a fan of videos like the one above as it shows nothing about the game.

The game should be out sometime in July but no pricing or platforms have been announced but expect the usual suspects from PC all the way to mobile phones. If Plants vs Zombies 2: It’s About Time is anything like the first game then PopCap Games will have another hit on their hands, even if the game isn’t as good it will still sell well on the back of the first game.
