Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will get a Trophy patch and a budget release in August which Hideo Kojima confirmed in an interview with Famitsu magazine. Hideo Kojima also revealed that Konami will hold a Metal Gear Solid 25th Anniversary Event on 3oth August at Tokyo Midtown.
The event will also serve as a platform for Hideo Kojima to give more details about the vision he’s previously shared about a game that connects people. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker’s “transferring” component apparently served as a test for this vision.
Trophy support will be included new budget release of Metal Gear Solid 4 in August. People who already have Meta Gear Solid 4 will be able to patch their copy og the game.
I still haven’t played Metal Gear Solid 4 but (I remember when it was revealed in E3 thought with that epic trailer) if I was one of the people who had already completed it several times and fully 100% I would be pretty annoyed about them now adding trophies to the game. Especially when some of the trophies are obviously going to take some effort to do. Trophies aren’t important but its annoying to everything in a game and then people think you haven’t.
I wonder if the trophies will be retrospectively awarded if you have done the required stuff?
