
As it’s a start of a new year, new video games are coming out to look forward to. Over the next few days or so I will be listing nearly thirty games that you should watch out for this year.
Each part will have around six games that you should look out for. In no particular order.

This part includes the following games:
Max Payne 3, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Metro: Last Light, Paper Mario, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, South Park: The Game and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.
Max Payne 3

Max Payne 3 is an upcoming third-person shooter video game in the Max Payne franchise published by Rockstar Games for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Development is led by Rockstar Vancouver in collaboration with the New England, London and Toronto studios.
This is the first game in the series not to be developed by Finnish game developer Remedy Entertainment and not being written by series creator Sam Lake. The lead writer of Max Payne 3 is Dan Houser, who was also the writer of most games in the Grand Theft Auto series, and of Red Dead Redemption.
It is due for release in March 2012.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is an upcoming action video game under development by Platinum Games and produced by Kojima Productions as part of the Metal Gear series, for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The game was originally announced and developed by Kojima Productions as Metal Gear Solid: Rising a interquel action game set between the events of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, before being reannounced as Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance under the development of Platinum Games.
The game is now set to take place several years after Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and is a spinoff that is “not part of the Metal Gear Solid series”.
It is due for release in 2012.
Metro: Last Light

Metro: Last Light is an upcoming action-oriented video game with a combination of survival horror and first-person shooter elements. It is expected to be released in the summer of 2012.
Previously announced as Metro 2034, the game is a sequel to Metro 2033, and although author Dmitry Glukhovsky has apparently been working with the developers, it bears no relevance to the book Metro 2034.
It is due for release in Summer 2012.
Paper Mario

Paper Mario is an upcoming role-playing video game in development for the Nintendo 3DS. It is the fourth installment of the Paper Mario series and as the first game in the series to be on a handheld console.
The game was announced during the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2010 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
It is due for release in 2012.
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, is the fourth title of the Sly Cooper series of platform stealth video games. Thieves in Time is a PlayStation 3 exclusive game.
Though the original series was developed by Sucker Punch Productions for the PlayStation 2, this game will be developed by Sanzaru Games, who had previously ported the original games into high-definition versions for the PlayStation 3.
The game was formally announced at the 2011 Electronic Entertainment Expo during Sony’s presentation on 7th June 2011.
The game, set in a world populated by anthropomorphic animals, follows from the end of Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves. Sly Cooper, a raccoon from a long line of master thieves, reunites his gang to locate and recover the Thievius Raccoonus, a book chronicling the Cooper family line that has been lost in time.
The player controls Sly, Bentley, and Murray and uses his thieving skills to pull off heists and recover the missing parts of the book over the course of the game.
It is due for release in 2012.
South Park: The Game

South Park: The Game is an upcoming role-playing video game based on the American animated television series South Park being developed by THQ, in collaboration with South Park Digital Studios and Obsidian Entertainment.
In the game, players will control a new kid in South Park, in order to make friends with the four main characters of the show, Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny, and to defend the town from various threats.
Similarly to their duties on the TV show, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are writing the script for the game, overseeing the project, and providing the voices of the characters.
South Park: The Game follows a number of video games based on the series, including three early titles released between 1998 and 2000, and more recently, South Park Let’s Go Tower Defense Play (released in 2009), and South Park: Tenorman’s Revenge, which is also in production, scheduled to be released in Spring 2012.
It is due for release in second half of 2012.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is a post-apocalyptic first-person shooter which is being designed by Ukrainian company GSC Game World.
Development of the game was announced in August 2010, and the release was scheduled for 2012.On December 23 GSC Game World announced they would be continuing development of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 despite an earlier announcement pointing to its cancellation.
It is due for release in 2012.
