Mojang today released a new update for the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft. It includes things such as animal breeding, brewing, experience points, enchanting, gameplay tweaks, bug fixes and much more. This update is similar to PC version 1.0.1, but without ‘The End’ which will come in Update 8.

Gabe Newell has confirmed rumours recently that Valve are working on a “Steam Box” which is a hardware unit designed especially to bring PC gaming to the living room. Valve Corporation recently released Big Picture mode has gained “stronger than expected” support giving Valve Corporation options when it comes to designing their own living room designed hardware.

God I despise award ceremonies and everything has an award ceremony these days. I forgot to watch the Spike Video Game Awards show last night but I am glad I did because most award ceremonies are cringe worthy to watch especially video game based ones. If last years one was anything to go by then I doubt much has changed. Anyway here’s the winners or I could say losers.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim newest add-on called Dragonborn came out last Tuesday exclusively for the Xbox 360. Its costs 1600 Microsoft Points and seems like a pretty meaty piece of content for the game. It should be for the price they are asking for it.

Bethesda Softworks have announced that patch 1.8 is now available for download. It doesn’t add much to game and instead adds a few bug fixes. It is currently only available for PC and Xbox 360 with PlayStation 3 players having to wait.
